Thin Crust Black Iron Pizza Pan
This black iron pizza pan is made without a rolled edge so dough can be placed over the pan and then cut off. "Black Iron" is the term given to products made from mild steel, not its colour. Most robust than aluminium especially when baking at very high temperatures. Various sizes and depths available. We recommend that your "season" all of your pizza pans (except non stick) as this creates a patina effect that becomes stick resistant. "Black Iron" pans should be seasoned before use. To season: wash in warm soapy water and quickly dry. Wipe a small amount of cooking oil on all surfaces and bake until the oil has burnt on to the pan. Wipe all excess oil from the pan.
